Day 4- Bic Camera!

Sorry I'm a day late! This is what I did yesterday!

I went to Bic Camera. Everyone knows how amazing the technology here is, and I've pointed it out in a previous post, too! Bic Camera is a must for anyone who has inerest at all in music, software, games, cameras, washing machines, massage equipment, books, computers, and even golf wear?

Yeah. It's pretty cool.

Visit it if you get the chance!

Day 3- Oh my God, Phones!

Forget shoes. Phones are where it's at (disclaimer: no, i'm totally kidding about the shoes. i need them in my life. but you know what I mean).

I learned very early in life that whatever japan comes up with, the United States will follow a few years later. Granted, they have different needs: Americans have this thing about full QWERTY keyboards for texting , whereas the japanese don't care, because the other kind of keyboard works better for the language.

Have you ever seen a SOLAR cellular phone? I am completely srious. They made it, like, two years ago, too. You stick it by your window, and BOOM it gets charged.

modeled by Satoshi Ohno.

I know. you're jealous, right? They have a series of other phones that are equally awesome.

I was trying to save money, and because i don't actually live in japan, i got the FREE one :D

Light blue ;D

So see, this was like, forever ago. where are we today....? its sad. Do business with KDDI, people XD

Song of the day: Without Me by Eminem

I have no idea why. But this vid is ridiculous XD

And it was in my head all day

Day 2 - Shopping

There is a place that exists in Tokyo, Japan. It's the most perfect store on this planet. It's a chic girl's fantasy. A model's wet dream. It's simple. It's Uniqlo.

I am completely serious. This store has all your basics. and for a relatively low price, even by American standards, with fabrics that are high quality and exceed those that one might find at any other discount retailer.

Seriously. I have so many clothes right now, it's a little ridiculous. I won't have to go shopping for like another to years.

Get your basics at Uniqlo!~

and NOW, online for Americans!

look it up. I dare you

Song of the day- They were playing this in like ALL the stores I went into today XD

Japan-Day 1; Dude. This is so hot.

I come to Japan every year, but for the first couple of days, I feel like I'm inside a tv. does that even make sense? Like, whoa! People are speaking japanese! And i UNDERSTAND THEM!

Okay, I'm a little sleepy. Just got in from Narita, andI totally didn't sleep on the flight. It"s only, like, nine and a half hours or so.

Which really isnt that long if you put it into perspective. I thought about it in terms of school. It's like being in class for a day, give or take an hour or two. so here's how the flight looked. Say each period is like an hour or so.

Period 1 *Language Arts - I pretty much sat around and reveled in life. It was pretty cool.

Period 2 *Social Studies - Tried to communicate with my Vietnamese neighbors and failed. Messed around with the monitor in front of me. Found How To Train Your Dragon. In Japanese. It as cool, but wrong. I watched it for a little.

Homeroom - Discovered the "Zune" in my armrest. They played Sexy Bitch by Akon like six times. it is still in my head.

Period 3(The most tortuous) *French - Sat around and thoiught about life some more. Also watched a DVD

Lunch - Airplane food is good now, you know

Period 4 *Science - Mixed Apple juice and seltzer. Not sure how I feel about this.

Period 5 *Band - Oh, screw it, I've waited long enough. Turn on my ipod already

Period 6 *Math - Make a list of all the stuff I have to but for people. There are over twnety people on this list

And then a little bit after that, I listened to some more music, and read a magazine.

SEE? IT'S NOT THAT LONG, PEOPLE!

For my own entertainment, I pretended to everyone around me that I was an American tourist. Apparently, it worked quite well. They didnt think I as Japanese at all.

That was dull. A dull start to this blog. But you know, it'll get better as I continue to do stuff. Keep tracking!

Love from Tokyo,

-T

Question of the day~!

Q: Who can turn the world on with her smile? Who can take a nothing day and suddenly make it all seem worthwhile?
